Step 1: Gather Information

Before we begin, please ensure you have the following details handy:

  • Email address: Your full email address
  • Password: Your email account password
  • Incoming mail server:
  • Outgoing mail server:
  • Port numbers: For both incoming and outgoing servers
  • SSL settings: Optional but recommended for enhanced security

Step 2: Open Outlook

Launch your Outlook application on your computer.

Step 3: Add a New Email Account

  1. Navigate to the “File” menu in the top-left corner.
  2. Click on “Add Account.”

Step 4: Choose Email Account Type

  1. Select “Manual setup or additional server types.”
  2. Click “Next.”

Step 5: Choose Email Service

  1. Opt for “POP or IMAP.” (We recommend IMAP)
  2. Click “Next.”

Step 6: Fill in User, Server, and Logon Information

  1. Your Name: Enter the name you’d like to display on outgoing messages.
  2. Email Address: Your full email address.
  3. Account Type: Choose either IMAP or POP3.
  4. Incoming/Outgoing Mail Server: Enter
  5. User Name: Your full email address.
  6. Password: Your email account password.

Step 7: More Settings

  1. Click on “More Settings.”
  2. Navigate to the “General” tab, enter a name for your email account.
  3. In the “Outgoing Server” tab, check “My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.”
  4. Switch to the “Advanced” tab.

Step 8: Configure Advanced Settings

  1. For Incoming server (IMAP), use port 993 (SSL) or 143 (non-SSL).
  2. For Outgoing server (SMTP), use port 587 (TLS/STARTTLS) or 465 (SSL).
  3. Set encryption to SSL or TLS as needed.
  4. Click “OK” to close the window.

Step 9: Test Account Settings

  1. Return to the main screen of the “Add Account” wizard.
  2. Click “Next” to test the account settings.
  3. Upon successful configuration, click “Finish.”

Step 10: Complete the Setup

  1. Back on the main Outlook screen, click “Finish” to complete the setup.
  2. Your domain email account is now ready to use in Outlook.
